The reverse depicts the holographic Australian Olympic Team logo (colored Australian flag raised colored Olympic rings). This is the first time that the Australian Olympic logo is featured in this state of the art technique on the central gold ring. Surrounding this depiction is a laurel wreath with floral heraldic appearance which traverses both the copper and silver parts of the coin. A depiction is the wording: "OLYMPIC GAMES" around above and year of issue below appearing on the outer copper ring.
