Description:
The reverse features the image of striking full-color depiction of a rooster, hen, and three small chicks. The proud rooster is depicted standing alert, while the hen and chicks search for food amongst bamboo foliage and flowers, a rooster with detailed plumage in shades of red, gold, and black, tail feathers flowing upward along with the Chinese character (雞) for "Rooster" to the upper left, the inscription “Year of the Rooster” is placed along the rim, and the Perth Mint “P” mintmark is also inscribed on the left of the coin.
