Reverse

Engraved by Louis Kwan
Lettering:
MOON LANDING 1969-2019
P LB

Description:
The coin’s reverse portrays a depiction of the Lunar Module Eagle standing on the rugged lunar surface, surrounded by craters and textured terrain. The module’s geometric structure, landing legs, antenna, ladder, and technical panels are carefully engraved. The only disruption to the flowing, dusty surface of the moon in the design is the footprint from one of the flight suits worn by Aldrin and Armstrong during their walk on the moon, the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark appears above the horizon line and the designer's initials "LB" in tiny letters below it, are inside the boot print.
