AMPHIPRION OCELLARIS
Description:
The obverse features a dramatic underwater scene rendered with deep color application and sculptural relief. Colored three Clownfishs swimming through clear blue waters among above a richly detailed coral reef. The fish is rendered with exceptional detail: a body with three vertical bars white, orange and black tones, contrasting fins and tail, a defined small eye, mouth, and gill line. Surrounding marine elements include anemone and underwater plants. Additional raised silver a graceful island with tall coconut palm detailed ocean waves extending toward the horizon, and a beautifully detailed image of a long-snouted seahorse with bubbles that emphasize the animal’s movement and aquatic environment, appear outside the central colored area, creating a layered, dynamic composition. The upper rim carries the inscription "CHELONIA MYDAS", emphasizing the species scientific name.
