Description:
The reverse of the coin depicts a Mark V tank with three Australian soldiers behind it during offensive, used for the first time as a "creeping barrage" under the command of Lieutenant General John Monash, in the pivotal Battle of Hamel in July 1918. The inscription identify theme "1918 - THE EARTH SHOOK" above, a red poppy at the right side, and the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark at the opposite. The designer's initials "WR" in tiny letters right.
