Description:
The coin’s reverse features three Australian men at the recruiting office signing up to enlist in World War I. A coloured representation of an Australian soldier in uniform is helping them to fill out the enlistment paperwork. The design includes an engraving of an original attestation paper used to enlist in the Australian Imperial Force. The inscription ‘1914 – Answering the Call’, a red poppy motif, and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
