Description:
This beautiful innovative dome-shaped coin acknowledges the significance of the constellation Ursa Major (Big Dipper) as seen from the northern hemisphere at night from a mountain location. A gorgeous combination of color, with blue, orange and red, makes the constellation almost real. The stars are engraved in Silver, in this way appears the contrast. Lines of latitude and longitude that detect its location are offset to the left of center and extend to the bottom right. Wrapping around the design are the inscriptions identifies the theme "NORTHERN SKY · URSA MAJOR" curves along the upper right edge and face value "FIVE DOLLARS" is inscribed close to the bottom rim.
