The struck design is an image of the Melbourne as if they are being reflected in contrast below a waterline. Included in the design is the official Melbourne Commonwealth Games logo (an image of 2 figures, which represents sport and culture, achievement and excellence, while the colours green, yellow, and red represents celebratory, fresh and youthfully optimistic character of Melbourne city.
