Description:
On the reverse, a mid action image of a professional male rugby player running whilst holding a rugby ball and running pushing away a rival player who is about to tackle. The athlete has mouth open and teeth bared in determination. The inscription identifies the theme "CENTENARY OF RUGBY LEAGUE" curves along the left edge within a half rugby ball, the dates year of establishment and issue "1908 - 2008" between two rugby balls in both sides and the face value "5 DOLLARS" is inscribed close to the bottom rim. The designer's monogram (VG) is also incorporated into the design below.
