Description:
The reverse design features the prestigious silver Australia's Own Game trophy (a silver and gold-plated trophy, handmade by Cash's Awards and Promotion Solutions. The iconic cup features a distinctive design that is presented on the ground after the match). The effect was achieved by silver, the center oval on which the image of the trophy is struck while the logo of the Australian Football League (In 1999 the AFL redesigned its insignia to give it a more contemporary feel. The new design displays the abbreviation “AFL” against the background of a red oval outlined in white and blue. The letters are in white with a blue outline, the effect being a 3-D format. The top-left end of the letter “A” and the top-right end of the letter “L” have stylized elements that look like small wings which most probably symbolize speed) is included on the selectively gold plated outer ring right and left sides, inscription "Australia's Own Game" around above and the denomination "Five Dollars" around below.
