On the reverse of the coin, features a detailed depiction of the iconic Green sea turtle fills most of the coin, embodying the intricate artistry for which the mint is celebrated. Engravings on this face of the coin identify the name of the series accompanied by the date "AUSTRALIAN SEA TURTLE" inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the left field, The Perth Mint's traditional "P" mint mark appears below and the designers initials “WR” appearing just above.
