The reverse of the coin captures the essence of victory and the subsequent global sigh of relief, depicts an ANZAC soldier wearing Slouch hat and an officer in Uniforms marching holding rifles, with several aircraft flying and radiant sun rising behind the clouds in the background within a circle. The inscription ‘WWII VICTORY" around above and the date "1945’ around below. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark is also included in the design can be found on the right-hand side, with the initials of the designer (NM) appearing at the opposite, on the clouds.
