Obverse

Lettering:
MOUNTAIN GORILLA
2008

Description:
The obverse presents a detailed sculptural depiction of a gilded African Mountain gorilla family, in warm gold color, surrounded by trees and vegetation. The realistic rendering highlights muscular anatomy, expressive faces, deep-set eyes, layered fur texture, strong limbs, and natural posture with remarkable realism. In the background, softly engraved rocky terrain and natural landscape elements add context without distracting from the central figures. Diamond crystals form the gorilla's eyes, creating a striking contrast with the reflective gold surface. Above the scene is the inscription “MOUNTAIN GORILLA”, while below appears the date 2008. The composition conveys calm strength and harmony with nature.
