Description:
The reverse of the coin depicts a magnificent gilded tiger cub following its proud and protective parent through a rocky terrain covered with bamboo and ferns. The animals’ golden finish contrasts strikingly with the frosted silver background, enhancing the intricate details of its stripes and muscular body. Also on the coin is the Chinese character (虎) or “Tiger” , the inscription “TIGER 2022” above. In the left field, the traditional mark of the Perth Mint “P” appears and the designer's initials (JM) are below, on the ground.
