Description:
6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right (the Commonwealth effigy), wearing the George IV State Diadem, the Coronation Necklace and Earrings framed by inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA, 2022,” and the face value “1 DOLLAR” surrounded by a lunar calendar wheel, will notice that each of the 12 animals in the cycle is represented in the design of the wheel. At the very top of the wheel, indicating it is the animal represented for the year, is the ox.

Description:
The reverse of the coin features the image of a finely detailed majestic tiger walking on rugged rocks, its muscular body and expressive stripes fur rendered with lifelike precision and its mouth open, exposing its many teeth and powerful jaws ready to clamp down on prey with pine branches behind, enclosing a crescent-shaped. On the left, the inscriptions: "虎" - Tiger in Chinese character. On the bottom, the inscription: "YEAR OF THE TIGER" - the name of the coin and the purity of the material "1oz .999 Ag." The designer's initials (BK) are above left.
