On the reverse of the Coin, the image of a gilded in 24 carat gold adult German Shepherd sitting in a field with a young pup in front of it. Chinese peony flowers hang in the background, and the Chinese character (狗) for dog is included above on this side along with the “P” mint mark of Perth at the right side and the designer's initials (IJ) are at the opposite on a leaf above adult dog's tail.
