The coin’s reverse features the buds of the the stages of development of the waratah (Telopea speciosissima) flower from bud to flower that is native to southeastern Australia and the state emblem for New South Wales, surrounding the edges of the coin and also includes 6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right (the Commonwealth effigy), wearing the George IV State Diadem, the Coronation Necklace and Earrings framed by inscriptions ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and the coin's mintage year, "2022" and around above right, " 1oz .999 Ag."
