Description:
The reverse features a central opal inlay, where the shimmering gemstone has been laser-cut to depict a detailed Tasmanian Devil and a soft tree fern, radiating with iridescent flashes of blue, green, and fiery hues. Around the opal are finely engraved the Southern Cross constellation a renowned star group which is only visible in the Southern hemisphere, native soft tree ferns, a waning gibbous moon, reflecting the animal’s nocturnal nature The inscriptions include TASMANIAN DEVIL, alongside the Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark. The metal, weight and purity marks “1oz 999 SILVER,” date "2014".
