The reverse of the coin features the main illustration of the majestic swan long neck and her cygnet gracefully swimming on the water's surface. Both swans are swimming peacefully on calm waters as the cygnet stays close to the adult swan. The inscriptions include THE 1OZ 9999 SILVER AUSTRALIAN SILVER SWAN followed by information about the fine weight "1 oz" and the material designation ".999 Ag." In the left field, the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark appears above and the designer's initials "JM" in tiny letters to the right, on the swan's wing.
