Description:
The reverse features a central opal inlay, where the shimmering gemstone has been laser-cut to depict a detailed a Rough-Scaled Python, radiating with iridescent flashes of blue, green, and fiery hues. Around the opal are finely engraved the Southern Cross constellation a renowned star group which is only visible in the Southern hemisphere, a collection of fern fronds, a quarter moon, reflecting the animal’s nocturnal nature The inscriptions include "ROUGH-SCALED PYTHON," alongside the Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark and the the designer's initials (AH) at the opposite on the fern below the moon. The metal, weight and purity marks “1oz 999 SILVER,” date "2015" at the right side.
