Behind the man and fish, a colored scene shows the land, sea and sky in their natural hues all framed within a shape of the Australian continent. Inscriptions include THE LAND DOWN UNDER," and "ROCK FISHING" below it. The metal, purity and weight "1 OZ 999 SILVER." To the bottom of the image, the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears and the the designer's initials (JM) on the fish.
