Incorporating the number 200, the coin's reverse pictures Greenway's original design with a symbolic beam of light emerging from the Fresnel lens-like glow at the top of the tower. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "MACQUARIE LIGHTHOUSE BICENTENARY", "200" and the coin’s metal, weight and purity"1oz 9999 SILVER" is inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the right field, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears below and the the designer's initials (JM) are also incorporated into the design below left on a ground.
