On the reverse field of the coin features three aircrafts representing various aircrafts using by Royal Australian Air Force history, SE5A Biplane the best single-seat fighter and was instrumental in regaining and maintaining allied air superiority in mid-1917, Lockheed P-3 C Orion is a four-engined, turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft and a highly advanced multi-role, supersonic, stealth fighter F-35A Lightning II with clouds in the background. To the left RAAF Badge ( a Wedge-Tailed Eagle its wings and talons outstretched as it swoops down). Inscription in two lines "ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE" below accompanied dates "1921 - 2021" and the designer's initials (AS) appears discreetly below right.
