At the center lies a transparent locket capsule filled with loose gold granules. The top rim reads TREASURES OF THE WORLD. The word GOLD is inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the left field, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears and the the designer's initials (NM) are also incorporated into the design at the opposite .
