Description:
This coin’s design shows five bats representing the five blessings of longevity, wealth, health with composure, virtue and a natural death in old age. The engraved curves of the bats along with vines and flowers surround the character for prosperity, a charming pun as the prosperity character is pronounced the same as the character for bat. The peach flowers and peonies symbolize longevity, immortality, royalty, virtue, wealth and honor in their own right. The inscription 'Five Blessings' is inscribed close to the bottom rim along with The Perth Mint 'P' mark.
