The coin reverse features a beautifully engraved running Elaphrosaurine Thropod "light-footed lizard" shown in profile. The animal’s muscular body, long tail, and strong hind legs are rendered with smooth, natural contours, conveying calm energy and balance next to it a close-up silhouette of another one.  Engravings on this face of the coin identify the name of the series "AUSTRALIAN DINOSAURS" around above and the coin name "ELAPHROSAURINE" are inscribed close to the bottom rim.
