The coin’s reverse design comprises images representing sailors from the early days of the Royal Australian Navy; HMAS Yarra, the River Class Torpedo Boat Destroyer commissioned in 1910; and the modern warship HMAS Anzac, the third Royal Australian Navy ship to carry the legendary name. The inscription identify theme with dates in three lines "ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY 1911-2011" at the upper part. In the right field, The P mint mark of the Perth Mint appears and the designer's initials (WR) appears above it on the ship's bow next to the anchor.
