The colored reverse depicts a representation of Ginger Meggs riding a kangaroo along with his dog Mike and his pet monkey Tony. The design references the first Meggs cover of the 1924 Sunbeams Annual. Also incorporated in the design is the inscription, "GINGER MEGGS 90TH ANNIVERSARY," which features the Ginger Meggs logo and the signatures of the cartoonists Bancks and Chatfield.. The P mint mark of the Perth Mint appears at the 6:00 position near the rim and the metal, weight and purity marks “1oz 999 SILVER” around the lower edge..
