The reverse reproduction of the Australia 2 cents coin represented a frilled-neck lizard with neck frill extended and mouth open. The the face value "2" is left of the lizard's head; below its body in tiny letters, the designer's initials (SD) and the Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ Mint Mark inscribed close to the bottom rim.
