It is framed by an ornate border of decorative elements and a representation of the Most Ancient and Most Noble breast star of the Order of the Thistle with the inscription ELIZABETH II – 1953–2003 – ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION. Below, a stylized royal emblem completes the design, enhancing the solemn elegance of the piece. The Perth Mint's mark, "P," is not included.
