Engravings on this face of the coin identify the name of the coin accompanied by the date "2018 EMPEROR PENGUIN" around above and the name of series "AUSTRALIAN ANTARCTIC TERRITORY" inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the right field, The Perth Mint's traditional "P" mint mark appears below and the designers initials “WR” appearing below left.
