The inscription identifies the theme "DISCOVER AUSTRALIA" curves along the upper edge and its name accompanied by weight, purity, and metal content "2010 COMMON WOMBAT 1/10 OZ 99995 PLATINUM" are inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the left field, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears and the designer's initials (DB) are also incorporated into the design below left on the right Great White Shark's pectoral fin.
