Description:
The reverse coin portrays a mother emu walking to the left gracefully across the landscape impressively, capturing the emu’s unique feathers, posture details. Vigilant as she guards her eggs amongst the grasslands. Engravings on this face identify the name of the new series "AUSTRALIAN EMU" accompanied by weight, purity, and metal content inscribed close to the upper rim. In the left field, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mint mark appears above grass and the designer's initials (LP) are also incorporated into the design just under and the year of issue is inscribed close to the bottom rim.
