Description:
The innovative dome-shaped coin depicts on its reverse a beautiful motif of baobab trees growing in the Australian desert amid a Kimberley landscape at sunset. In addition, a fine white delicate diamond set just above the horizon represents the rising sun. Engravings on this face identify the name of the series "KIMBERLEY SUNRISE" around above, and the weight, purity, and metal content accompanied by year of issue "2oz 9999 GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim. The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark at the right side and the designer's initials (TV) are at the opposite just under the diamond.
