Above the image, the words “THE AUSTRALIAN NUGGET 1/2 OZ. 9999 GOLD” curve around the top edge, while below the design, the year “1987.” The layout is clean and the engraving crisp, highlighting the artistic capabilities of the Perth Mint’s master engravers.
