The reverse features a majestic and beautifully detailed design of goat. It stands gorgeously standing on a ridge in a stylized mountain scene. The animal is rendered with remarkable realism, showing detailed fur, curved long horns, expressive face, slender legs, and natural posture, along with the Chinese character (羊) for "Goat" to the left, the inscription “Year of the Goat” is placed along the rim, and the Perth Mint “P” mintmark is also inscribed on the left of the coin and the designer's initials (NM) are also incorporated into the design to opposite.
