The reverse features shows a detailed scene with three kookaburras perched together on a tree branch, their strong beaks and distinctive silhouettes finely engraved. Known for their loud laughing calls, kookaburras are symbols of the Australian bush and a beloved part of national identity. The inscription identifies the theme "DISCOVER AUSTRALIA" curves along the upper edge and its name accompanied by weight, purity, and metal content "KOOKABURRA 1/25 OZ 9999 GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim.
