Description:
The reverse features a representation of three grey kangaroos left one standing alert with its ears erect surroundings accessing, right one searching food and the middle drinking from a stream and the image of it as if it is being reflected in contrast below a waterline in the outback background. The inscription identifies the theme "DISCOVER AUSTRALIA" curves along the upper edge and its name accompanied by weight, purity, and metal content "GREY KANGAROO 1/25 OZ 9999 GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, date appear and the designer's initials (WR) are also incorporated into the design below right on the ground.
