The engraving captures the alert posture and characteristic appearance of this species, closely connected with the Australian outback. The inscription identifies the theme "DISCOVER AUSTRALIA" curves along the upper edge and its name accompanied by weight, purity, and metal content "FRILLED NECK LIZARD 1/25 OZ 9999 GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim.
