The reverse of the coin features a stunning depiction of a magnificent three-dimensional representation of the beast known as the 'king of the mountain' standing alert on a rocky outcrop with its head turned with an intense and watchful gaze, its muscular body and expressive stripes fur rendered with lifelike precision and open jaw of the majestic animal reveals its impressive, razor-sharp canine teeth. The tiger's body is crafted from rose gold and meticulously pave-set with approximately specifically selected, intense to vivid colour Argyle Pink Diamonds™. Two emeralds from Colombia's legendary Muzo mines feature as the tigers eye. Also included in the design is the inscription ‘THE JEWELLED TIGER’, the Chinese characters for ‘Tiger’. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark at the right side and the designer's initials (NM) just under.
