The reverse side of the coin features four portraits of Queen Victoria in the form borne by coins struck during her reign between 1837 and 1901. These are the coin portraits known as 'Young Head Portrait', 'Jubilee Portrait', 'Old Head Portrait' and 'Young Head with Banksia Portrait'. In the center of the coin is the crown of St Edward, which is part of the crown jewels of the monarchs of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries. The motif is completed by the inscriptions "QUEEN VICTORIA", "200th ANNIVERSARY" and two stylized acacia branches. In the design the Perth Mint’s traditional P mint mark at the right side and the designer's initials (AH) in tiny letters just under on the acacia branch.
