6th crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right (the Commonwealth effigy), wearing the George IV State Diadem, the Coronation Necklace and Earrings framed by inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA,” and the face value “200 DOLLARS.”

Description:
Against a backdrop of stylised clouds, the coin's reverse portrays representations of six RAF Spitfires, which alongside Hurricane fighter planes effectively ended Germany's planned invasion of Britain during the second year of the War. The design includes the inscription 80TH ANNIVERSARY BATTLE of BRITAIN, as well as the coin's 2020 year-date are inscribed close to the bottom rim. The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark appears. In the right field, the designer's initials (WR) is also incorporated into the design.
