Description:
The reverse features merino ewe and lamb, that thrive in the cold, high-altitude mountain climate in Lesotho, grazing hence the country is famous for producing fine and superfine Merino wool. The surrounding Latin legend "F.A.O." and the motto of the country "KHOTSO PULA NALA" (Sesotho, to English: Peace, Rain, Prosperity), around above and denomination below along two stars on both sides with "A" privy mark within lozenge.
