Description:
The reverse shows two dolphins against a background of the setting sun slowly disappearing, one sticking its head out of the water and the other leaping out of the sea with water splashes that rendered a sense of motion. The dolphins’ streamlined bodies, rounded heads, fins, and tails are rendered with soft frosted relief against mirrored fields. Engravings on this face of the coin identify the name of the series "ROUGH-TOOTHED DOLPHIN" around above, weight, purity, and metal content "1 Oz .9999 FINE GOLD" are inscribed close to the bottom rim.
