Description:
The reverse side of the coin bears a depiction of the basilisk (The basilisk is primarily a dangerous creature, bringing evil and destruction) in the form of a dragon with a cock's head and claws, which is consistent with medieval imagery. The mythological creature is depicted in flight with outstretched wings while returning to a mountain cave. The motif is accompanied at the top by the inscription 'MYTHICAL CREATURES BASILISK'. It includes the mint mark "P" and the initials of the designer "NM" below the cave.
