Description:
The obverse presents a finely engraved view of the Dome of the Rock, highlighting its majestic central dome, elegant colonnades, arched entrance, windows, and precisely rendered architectural details beside it the smaller Dome of the Chain that free-standing domed building located adjacently east of the Dome of the Rock in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Above is a diamond is the emblem of the series, and the intertwined letters "GA" (for GOLD AFFORDABLE) are an abbreviation for the numismatic program, while at the upper right side comprises a radiant sun representation as a diamond gemstone. Around the portrait appear the inscriptions accompanied by the year of issue "ICONS OF THE WORLD 2021" identifying the series name around above, the metal, weight and purity".9999 FINEST GOLD 1/100 OZ OR PUR" around below. "Pf" symbol emphasized "piedfort." The design is completed by a medallion with the anniversary date, ""1330th Anniv.", commemorating the completion of the Muslim sanctuary over the Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, one of the earliest monuments of Islamic architecture, in 691.
