The obverse inspired from Napoleon Crossing the Alps painted by the French artist Jacques-Louis David, presents image of Napoleon on a rearing horse dominates the scene, with an cloak, the crispin (cuff) of his gauntlet is embroidered, the horse is piebald, and the tack is complete and includes a standing martingale. The girth around the horse's belly is a dark. Napoleon's face appears youthful. Below right is a half globe with latitude and longitude lines and emblem "GA." Around the portrait appear the inscriptions accompanied by the year of issue "ICONS OF THE WORLD 2021" identifying the series name around above, the metal, weight and purity".9999 FINEST GOLD 1/200 OZ OR PUR" around below.
