The design reflects the Battle of Lone Pine that continues to be remembered for its brutal and intense fighting and a solemn memorial marks the site of that famous assault, depicts the Lone Pine Cemetery with a single pine tree was planted in the cemetery during its landscaping(a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery dating from World War I in the former Anzac sector of the Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey and the location of the Lone Pine Memorial) above the dates year of battle and year of issue, and value "TEN DOLLARS" is inscribed close to the bottom rim. In the left field, The designer's monogram (A over B) are also incorporated into the design.
