Description:
The reverse presents the Duyfken vessel in full motion: masts rising high, a full arrangement of sails shaped like wind-filled wings, and detailed rigging stretching between spars and yards. The bow cuts through stylized waves, creating a dynamic sense of forward movement. To the right, a compass rose dividing dates, year of voyage "upper" and year of issue "down." The inscription identifies the theme "VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY DUYFKEN" curves along the upper edge. The Maarten Theodoor Brouwer's Mark (Mint Master, Royal Dutch Mint (2003-2015) with tulip above left.
