The Coin’s reverse features a modernistic and slightly abstract composition of royal insignia, highlighted by the prominent positioning of St Edward's Crown over the Queen's personal cypher: EIIR (for Elizabeth II Regina - Queen Elizabeth the Second) surround by the inscription identify theme "LONGEST REIGNING COMMONWEALTH MONARCH" below that is the numeral of denomination the face value (50), depiction of the anointing Coronation Spoon vertically and a border consisting of some of the coronation oil's (was used of neroli, jasmine, rose, cinnamon, benzoin, musk, civet and ambergris) and ingredients alongside Australia's golden wattle.
